Compensation costs up 0.8% Jun 2024 to Sep 2024 and up 3.9% over the year ending Sep 2024

Compensation costs increased 0.8 percent for civilian workers, seasonally adjusted, from June 2024 to September 2024. Over the year, total compensation rose 3.9 percent, wages and salaries rose 3.9 percent, and benefit costs rose 3.7 percent.
