U.S. import prices up 0.8% in March on higher nonfuel prices; export prices rise 1.6%
In March, U.S. import prices rose 0.8 percent, following an increase of 0.9 percent in February. The index for U.S. export prices advanced 1.6 percent in March after rising 1.9 percent in February. Over the past 12 months, import prices increased 2.1 percent and export prices advanced 5.6 percent.
